Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-24

These terms govern your use of letmepost.dev. By using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.

1. The service

letmepost.dev is an API for publishing content to third-party social platforms that you control or are authorised to post to. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The core code is open source under the Apache 2.0 license; the hosted service runs that same code.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your API keys secret. Treat them like passwords.
  • You must be authorised to post to any social account you connect. We only act on your behalf.
  • You must comply with the terms of every third-party platform you publish to. If the platform bans your account, that's between you and them.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use letmepost.dev to:

  • Spam, harass, deceive, or impersonate anyone on any connected platform.
  • Evade a third-party platform's rate limits, automation rules, or moderation decisions.
  • Post content that is illegal where either you or the recipient audience lives.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our rate limiting, degrade the service, or target other users.
  • Resell the API as a generic "post to social" service without meaningful value-add. You can absolutely build products on top of it — that's what it's for.

We may suspend accounts that violate this section with notice where practical, immediately where not.

4. Rate limits and fair use

Published rate limits apply per API key. Exceeding them returns 429 responses. We reserve the right to throttle or refuse traffic that materially degrades the service for other users.

5. Pricing and payment

Pricing is published on the site. Paid tiers are billed monthly in advance and non-refundable for the current period. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the period ends.

6. Changes to the service

We may change, add to, or remove features. We'll give reasonable notice of breaking changes via the changelog and webhook events (version.deprecated). The OpenAPI spec is versioned; we do not silently change request/response shapes.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time from the dashboard (once shipped) or by emailing us. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or expose us to legal risk.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data on third-party platforms, or platform bans.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the registered address of the operator.
